Magnificent Rainbow: Kids Form Poems

This exhibit, edited by poet-in-the-schools master teacher Jack Collom, highlight the wonder of kids playing around with poetic forms.

These poems originally appeared in Poetry Everywhere (Teachers & Writers Collaborative, 1994), edited by Jack Collom with Sheryl Noethe. The author and MAP wish to thank Teachers & Writers Collaborative for permission to republish the poems included in this exhibit. Descriptions of poetic forms are from The Teachers & Writers Handbook of Poetic Forms, Ron Padgett, ed., New York: Teachers & Writers Collaborative, 1987.

Images used in this exhibit are with the expressed written permission of the Global Children's Art Gallery — The Natural Child Project
