STEVE SILBERMAN
The Great Pattern
after
Wang His-Chih
Look––
where Earth is,
the blue sky
ends.
The deep ocean
washes up
on shore.
Inside,
no horizon.
Trust
your eyes,
the great
pattern
shows itself.
Vast,
the work
of
transformation.
A billion
symphonies,
not one
wrong note.
Today
a shirt,
tomorrow
a shroud––
each suits me,
none strange,
all
a perfect fit.
