ANDY CLAUSEN
Love Fragment
yass, I prayed & willed you know our bold
magic
strokes of Dharma one with this body magic
more than sparkling
sweeter than the Divine
more pleasing than sweet
I
desired metaphors for existence
to dance the purpose
the fecund philosophy of wonder
& ramble
& gamble & just plain amble
permeating the fabric of our efforts
the triumph of total compassion
to untold imagery & beauty
worthy of the big bang energens
ignited by might mind
all mighty mind
incarnated by your admittance
& courage
adhering bestowal
of reciprocated desire
brighter than the sun
sweeter than the day
more precious than all I have
when you’re away
I
devoted it to flower like Botticelli’s
& the Great
Unknowns
over the cherished manicured rocks of the ages
I
wanted to leave something that would endure
without sensorial sartorial manifest
without north south east or west
some conception so beautiful
& heartfelt
forever honest
living in air
ordinaries of all orders
breathe & suffer
&
they would smile
& know we
lived & that
when I was I
I
knew my love for you
was the Dharma
and the path to the maitreya flowers
inside the rain
no longer without you
a slave of this pain
no longer without you
You
who are more to me than anything
I can do or say
more precious than all I have
when you are away
