President Barack Obama invited George W. Bush to the White House for a meeting on Afghanistan. Obama wanted to know all about his predecessor's Afghan war strategy so he could make the best possible decision on next steps.

After cigarettes, coffee, and some small talk about their families, Obama asked Bush for the full run-down.

"I went to Afghanistan to get the evildoers."

"That sounds like a strategy I can build on."
