The movie keeps changing––the scenes are never the same.
It’s mad extraordinary variations on eternity.
There may be more people in the background, less the next frame.
Lovers never appear again or they appear as different people,
Celestially promiscuous, unquiet dead surrogate memory wiper,
Alternate future depicter, idealist alien threat peacemaker,
Ordinary girl next-door boy stumbling into separatist rift,
Shooting 45s from string hanging out back clothesline,
Sobbing over pizza, looking at the planet equal to
The entire genetic multiplicity gamboling where
Some disappear for no reason, some appear out of the blue.
It’s the second Thursday of the week in some versions.
In others, moon spice miners travel in search of the fabled lode.
