Ode To Fallen Trees

Dreamy mist––

the spirit of many

fallen trees

a white mist

like the tip

of a porcupine’s

quill

a mist

that curls

ladyslipper pink

butterfly wings

only marsh

marigolds

more creamy

white

with pink

at the tip

of each petal

a very cool

green blue

dawn
