Lost Obama Race Speech Fragment

 

“Segregation is attachment to separateness,

Which is also the root cause of suffering...”

 

He might have said this somewhere or

Maybe he didn’t say anything like that at all.

Whether he said it or not isn’t the issue either,

For they understood that he was saying

This whenever he spoke out from the hue of his skin

To the Desecrated Body of the complexional caste,

The wanderers of the Proper Sphere,

Aspiring or groveling through the merchandise of injustice.

 

It set a whole other kind of horizon

Out upon the beyond.
