To Express Myself Fully

If the spring rains are generous, the first raspberries will be plump.

If the nations vanish into crackly rolls of yellow light,

they will have fallen into their funearies

ignorant of the budding

green lotus.

Let us try to reserve a small corner somewhere on the surface of the earth

where we can form the nucleus of treasures to come.

My idea is that the corner is one’s self.
